Die-cutting is a high-volume process with minimal manual labor. It is performed by tools, called dies, which have complex assembly with combined operations and can simultaneously do several operations – cutting, creasing, perforation and relief. Die-cutters are mounted on a special mechanic press for die-cut. Most commonly, the die-cut is after print process and with it’s help the printed sheets can become complex 3D products like boxes or other packages.
